Job Role
The key objectives of the Sales Executive are to identify, mature and qualify new sales contacts and opportunities for the business. The Sales Executive will also be expected to take ownership of the initial contact to prospects generated through the website or via marketing activities and qualify their appropriateness for further sales attention. These objectives will be in combination with maintaining, cleaning and enhancing the sales CRM data database, as contact and engagement is made with new leads or personal referrals.
As a Sales Executive, on a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for generating leads and cold calling potential customers to promote our training and education solutions. You will work with the existing sales team to identify new contact targets that may be in organisations that ZISHI has not yet penetrated, or in existing ZISHI accounts into departments or divisions where we are not yet established. You will not be expected to meet a sales target yourself, but will aim to meet key performance indicators for new contacts and meetings set up with members of the sales team and prospects.
Additionally, you will co-ordinate with the marketing function and at times lead the promotion of marketing activities designed to generate brand new connections and sales leads, such as webinars or marketing events.
This is a role for someone who is self-motivated, positive and has a genuine passion for sales in training and education. It is essential that individuals in this role are team players and have exceptional communication skills. The Sales Executive should also have the ability to understand the wider business strategy and think critically about how the work they are doing contributes to the overall strategic sales objectives and goals. You will be working closely with the sales team to develop any identified new business opportunities and will be a key part of helping the team to achieve individual and organisational sales targets.
Due to the high-interaction levels that come with the position, the Sales Executive must possess an ability to quickly build trust with new contacts and establish and communicate the ZISHI brand and propositions. Being a representative of ZISHI’s brand, the Sales Executive must be an approachable individual who is easy to get along with and who possesses an ability to form good relationships with prospect clients on behalf of the business.
