At ZISHI, we are passionate about supporting organisations that make a real difference in people’s lives. One such organisation is Willen Hospice, a cornerstone of the Milton Keynes community, providing exceptional care to those living with life-limiting illnesses.

The vital role of Willen Hospice

Willen Hospice is far more than a care provider; it is a lifeline for patients and families during some of life’s most challenging moments. Their compassionate approach to palliative care ensures that every patient receives tailored support, whether in their In-Patient Unit or through services like Willen at Home, which supports patients in the comfort of their own homes.

“We give comfort, ease pain and reduce anxiety for patients and their loved ones. Every pound given makes a difference – as it enables us to do more for more people across Milton Keynes when and where they need us. We receive less than a quarter of our funding from the NHS, which means the rest is donated or fundraised for by amazing local people. Which is why your support is so important and so appreciated – from everyone we help, thank you.”

This essential work is funded primarily through donations and community support. With only 13.8% of their operating costs covered by the NHS – less than half the national average for hospices – the team at Willen relies heavily on the generosity of local people and businesses. This is why ZISHI is proud to play a role in ensuring their vital services remain available to those who need them most.

ZISHI’s commitment to local community support

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting vital charities, we are honoured to have been recognised as a Gold Partner of Willen Hospice following our latest initiative.  . arlier this year, ZISHI employees embarked on a 15-mile fundraising walk spanning 15 of London’s landmark bridges. We are proud of the team for raising over £2,300 to help fund the Hospice’s work and raising awareness within the financial community of the incredible work Willen Hospice does within the Milton Keynes community.
