Course Overview

Python is currently the most popular programming language according to the highly regarded TIOBE index and its popularity is on the rise (+2.78%). It is also the programming language of choice for data science, machine learning, and financial applications.

Increasingly, Python is becoming the essential programming language not only for quants but for all finance professionals. Its simplicity and facilities for rapid development make Python much easier to adopt than the heavier programming languages from the C++ family, such as C++, Java, and C#.

This course introduces not only Python and Jupyter, but also their financial applications and data science, thus bringing the delegates to the current state of the art in financial computing.
