Course Overview
This comprehensive programme provides students with fully up-to-date knowledge regarding global financial markets, which continue to evolve to meet the needs of contemporary real economies, adapting to geo-political events and risks as well as the challenges of – inter alia – the transition to a more sustainable socio-economic future.
The programme covers all principal public and private capital markets both individually and from the perspectives of their interactions and – increasingly – convergence as the importance of private equity and debt markets continues to grow. The roles of key participants, from corporates and governments seeking to access financial markets for capital and liquidity resources, through banks and other intermediaries and on to regulators, is explored throughout the course which uses case studies and examples from international financial markets to illustrate key points and issues and to highlight regional differences in market structures and cultures.
In addition to a deep understanding of the functioning of financial markets, the course also provides delegates with the quantitative skills to analyse key financial instruments from the perspectives of both valuation and risk.
18 CPD hours awarded by ZISHI, a recognised CISI Premier Training Partner.
